The Pleasuremancer is an adult visual novel with elements taken from Point & Click and RPGs, supplemented by sex scenes. I tried to bring together the components I couldn’t find in the games I was playing, a mix of light humor, medieval fantasy, and, of course, sex. In the Pleasuremancer, you’ll travel through the lands of Albion in three distinct phases, each building new mechanics into the gameplay.

First, your decisions during the Introduction will determine both the difficulty of the game and the antagonists you’ll face. It also eases you into the  first mechanics of how to navigate the world, combat, and the consequences of choices.

During the mid-game, gameplay continues to evolve as you develop your power base and expand your influence. Here you’ll learn most of the advanced mechanics such as alchemy, magic botany, caravan raids and territorial control, and the development of Albion’s lore. This is also where you’ll start to really build out your harem!

Lastly, you’ll enter the Conquest phase. By now, you’ve developed your skills, established a strong base, and finally regained your physical body (rather important for an adult game!). Now’s the time to embrace your old methods and get back to doing business like the bad old days of 600 years previous! Once more, the lands will tremble under the armies of Azael the Conqueror, men will tremble and women will swoon as they learn of his approach!

Story

Once, long, long ago, you were a powerful wizard king who conquered the world with an iron fist of death, despair, and fear. Quickly overcoming all opposition; soon none remained to hinder you. Nevertheless, this uncontested superiority quickly lead to intolerable doldrums and unceasing boredom. Until the only choice left was to retreat to a timeless limbo for a thousand years in the hopes of finding an adequate adversary upon your return; at least, that was the plan…

Only 634 years have passed since you removed yourself from time and fell into a deep slumber; prematurely brough back to the world by an intensely foolish creature; a godelin. A brief moment of apathy on your part allowed the summoning to complete unhindered, and ::poof:: you back in the plane of reality, but not without the dire consequences of an idiotic godelin shaman’s blundered casting and a sick godelin’s snot filled destruction of the pages needed to undo the damage…

You do return to a future completely alien from your time, one where your legend has been forgotten and lost to history, just as planned. However, you return without your powers, your might, or even a fully manifested physical body…

To make matters worse, your mastery over death has been replaced with a penchant for pleasure… No longer are you a great necromancer spreading death and fear; now you are a Pleasuremancer, forced to rebuild your new empire on endless pleasure…

Well, at least it won’t be the boring same ol’ same ol’…
